    Marathon and ultra start at 6 am, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K start at 8 am each day no time limit, No Runner Left Behind.

    About this event

    I Ran Marathons Valentine Is an annual 36 hours event / festival of various distance runs at beautiful Government Canyon State Nature Park just 6 miles north of 1604. This park has more than 40 miles of hiking and biking trails that range from remote rugged canyon lands to gently rolling grasslands. Natural Area visitors may enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including, picnicking, hiking, biking and trail running. This event will be held at front country 5 mile loop easy and gentle to run.

    Course

    This is a very easy flat single track course. It is a dirt trail, expect to see some rocks and tree roots.
    Marathon - 5 X 5 Miles loops and 0.6 out and back.
    Half Marathon - 2 X 5 Miles Loops and 1.6 out and back.
    50 Miles - 10 X 5 Miles Loops.
    100 Miles - 20 X 5 Miles Loops.
    50K - 6 X 5 Miles Loop and 0.6 Miles out and back.
    10K - 5 Miles Loop and 0.6 out and back There will be cone / turnaround signs for all distances.

    Aid Stations

    There will be water, sport drink snacks every 5 miles at start / finish area. Bathrooms with running water at start and finish area. The park also offers camping for those of you choosing to stay overnight. Please arrange with park officials for campground permit. Sleeping in your car or trailhead will not be permitted unless you have paid camping fees. You must have permit sticker on your car visible for park ranger in order not to get a violation ticket. All races extend to night will be self-supported, you may have crew to support you at all times. Crew / pacer must pay park fee and if running more than 10K, they must register for race. The park charges for each vehicle entering and staying and we can not afford to have crew visit free of charge.

    Finisher Medal - T-Shirt

    Each participant will receive a custom designed T-Shirt. Finisher medal for each day.

    Parking

    Come early and park right at the start parking lot C. Park fee has been added to your registration, just mention the race at gate to get in.

    Registration

    Registration is currently set to close at 50 participants for all events. On line registration will be open until 2/6/14. You might not get a shirt if registered after 1/31/14. Entry is non-transferable and non-refundable.

    Finishing results

    Finishing results will be available on official website.

    Packet Pickup

    Start / Finish area each day before race start.

    Volunteers needed for Saturday and Sunday and EMT for both days as well. (You don not have to be certified)
